The McKinleyville Chamber of Commerce hosts this annual event the first weekend of June.  It is a four day celebration with something for the whole family.  Mark your calendars for next year June 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2011.

Wednesday

The first event brings out competitors and judges - our Clam Chowder Cookoff hosted at Pierson Park.  Local businesses and amateurs compete for serving up the Best Clam Chowder!  The fun part about this event is that the diners are the judges.

Thursday

Next up is the Fireman's Muster - Fire Department’s from around Humboldt County compete in a series of Firemen’s games, put on by Arcata Volunteer Fire Department.

Friday

Classic Car Cruise down Central Ave. in the evening - all cars are circa 1974.  Followed by the Pony Express Dance hosted at a different local business every year.

Saturday

A family fun day that brings out large crowds to watch our outstanding Parade down Central Ave. followed by our BIG festival in Pierson Park with Live Music, Craft Booths, Food Booths, Beer Garden and lots of kid activities!
