Timber Ridge provides independent living that offers our residents a choice of services that promote individual dignity and self-esteem. Timber Ridge in McKinleyville offers residents a choice of two types of apartment living. We have studios and one bedroom suites. All rooms are private with individual heating and cooling thermostats, cable hookups, telephone jacks and spacious closets. All our rooms meet American Hospital Association (AHA) standards. Bathrooms are large and are equipped with modern safety devices. All of our apartments have windows for our residents’ enjoyment.
Residents can also enjoy the restaurant style dining at Timber Ridge. Our kitchen staff will take your order from the choices on that day’s menu. The residents enjoy the meals immensely. They have barbeques in our patio that is centrally located in the building so that it is buffered from the weather. You can also read, watch television, sit and chat with a friend or just have a cat nap in our fireside lounge. You can also reserve our dining room if you would like to have a family dinner.   The activities at Timber Ridge are extensive. They have a lunch bunch group that goes to a different restaurant every other Friday of the month. They have shopping every Tuesday as well as different cooking excursions throughout the week. They have barbeques and picnics on most holidays and if you would like some exercise they have exercise in the mornings.
